Key Technologies for Traction Battery R&D and Manufacturing Toward Mass Industrialization Project won  National Science and Technology Progress Award 2023 (Second Prize).

Held Global Release Conference for Yutong Commercial Vehicle Technology Brand with the theme of "Drive Your Value" and  released the first EV-specific platform integrating software and hardware in commercial vehicle industry - YEA. 

Yutong battery electric buses shone in Qatar!

About 1,500 Yutong buses served the travel of fans, envoys, and officials from various countries. Besides product exports, Yutong has also signed a strategic cooperation framework agreement with Qatar to build an electric bus factory in the Qatar Free Trade Zone. 

Rebranded “Zhengzhou Zony Heavy Industries" as Yutong Heavy Equipment Co., Ltd. and launched the world's first extended-range electric rotary drilling rig.

Established Yutong Commercial Vehicle Co., Ltd., with the first battery electric light truck rolling off the production line

Established Yutong Commercial Vehicle Company, with the first battery electric heavy truck rolling off the production line. It is committed to becoming a leader in new energy heavy trucks and  providing customers with high-quality products and services.

Yutong Mining Equipment Co., Ltd. was established, and the new energy autonomous-driving mining trucks rolled off the production line. As a pioneer in developing and promoting new energy mining vehicles, it leads the industry in market share and is committed to becoming a leader in new energy mining equipment.

Won National Science and Technology Progress Award (Second Prize) for advanced manufacturing process.

Demonstrated self-developed L4 autonomous buses and launched 5G smart city bus solutions.

Won China's highest industrial honor - China Industrial Award, becoming one of the first automakers ever to receive this prestigious award for its outstanding performance and contributions in the industrial sector.

Operated construction machinery sector independently under Amoeba mode, and established Zhengzhou Zony Heavy Industries Co., Ltd.

Yutong's "ReCtrl" Technology Ushered in a New Era for New Energy Buses  

Yutong officially launched ReCtrl, its energy-saving and new energy technology brand, drove a new wave of green technology innovation in the bus industry, ushering in a new era of new energy buses.

 New Energy Production Base started operation officially, covering an area over 133 hectares, boosting strategic NEV industry layout.

In June 2012, Yutong's project of "Electric Vehicle Technology Development and Demonstration for New Business Models" was approved under the Ministry of Science and Technology's High-Tech R&D Program.

Foundation-laying ceremony of Yutong's new energy bus base was officially held.

Special Vehicles Branch of Yutong Bus was officially established, specializing in the design and production of special-purpose vehicles. 

As early as 2005, Yutong led industry research on school buses. In 2008, it launched China's first "big-nose" front-engine professional school bus, setting an industry precedent.

 Zhengzhou Yutong Development Co., Ltd. was established and renamed as Zhengzhou Yutong Group Co., Ltd. in 2005.  

Zhengzhou Yutong Heavy Industry Co., Ltd. was founded, mainly engaging in sanitation equipment, environmental services, construction machinery, and mining equipment, dedicating to building low-carbon, intelligent, and sustainable living environments.

Yutong was listed on the Shanghai Stock Exchange.

Yutong pioneered shareholding reform and established Zhengzhou Yutong Bus Co., Ltd.

Zhengzhou Bus Repair factory was founded.
